Job Summary

The Head of Digital Marketing will be responsible for defining, developing, and executing the overall digital marketing strategy for the company's range of appliances (white goods, electronics, small home appliances). This role is critical for driving brand awareness, increasing direct-to-consumer e-commerce sales, generating quality leads for offline retail channels, and ensuring a seamless omnichannel customer experience. The ideal candidate must possess strong leadership skills and deep expertise across all digital channels, particularly in a retail or FMCG environment.

Key Responsibilities

Digital Strategy & Vision:

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive, data-driven digital marketing strategy to achieve business goals across e-commerce, retail support, and brand growth.
  • Manage the annual digital marketing budget, allocating resources effectively across channels to maximize ROI.

Performance & E-commerce Marketing:

  • Lead the entire Performance Marketing function, including Paid Search (SEM), Display Advertising, Retargeting, and Paid Social campaigns (Facebook, Instagram, YouTube).
  • Oversee Search Engine Optimization (SEO) efforts, content strategy, and website performance to drive organic traffic and conversions for high-value appliances.

Content & Social Media:

  • Develop engaging content strategies that highlight product features, user benefits, and seasonal promotions specific to the appliances market.
  • Manage all social media platforms to build brand community, drive traffic, and handle customer service escalations in coordination with the relevant teams.

Omnichannel & CRM:

  • Integrate digital campaigns with offline retail efforts, ensuring consistent messaging and seamless customer journeys (e.g., store locator visibility, in-store pickup promotions).
  • Oversee the Customer Relationship Management (CRM) strategy, focusing on lifecycle marketing, email marketing, and driving repeat purchases and loyalty.

Analytics & Reporting:

  • Define key performance indicators (KPIs) and utilize advanced analytics tools to measure campaign effectiveness, attribution, and ROI.
  • Provide regular, actionable insights to senior management on digital performance and market trends.

Team Leadership & Development:

  • Lead, mentor, and manage the digital marketing team, fostering a culture of continuous testing, learning, and high performance.

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field. MBA or relevant Master's degree is a plus.
  • Experience:
  • Minimum of 8+ years of progressive experience in Digital Marketing.
  • Minimum of 3+ years in a leadership role (Head of/Director level).
  • Mandatory experience in the Retail, E-commerce, or Appliances/Electronics industry.
  • Technical Skills:
  • Expert proficiency in Google Ads, Facebook Ads Manager, Google Analytics (GA4), and SEO tools (e.g., SEMrush, Ahrefs).
  • Strong knowledge of e-commerce platforms (e.g., Shopify, Magento) and CRM software.
  • Soft Skills:
  • Exceptional strategic thinking and business acumen.
  • Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage large budgets.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and [Local Language, e.g., Arabic].
