Role Description

To maximize overall hotel revenue and profitability by driving online revenue growth by optimizing digital distribution channels, implementing e-commerce strategies, and enhancing online visibility. This role requires expertise in online marketing, digital advertising, and e-commerce platforms to maximize direct bookings and profitability. The E-Commerce compiles and presents key performance insights to EAM Commercial, providing actionable recommendations to enhance digital visibility, direct bookings, and overall online revenue.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Minimum of 2 years in a similar role in a five-star luxury hotel or resort, focusing on online sales and digital marketing.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Email).
  • Strong understanding of eCommerce, digital marketing, and online distribution channels.
  • Experience with e-commerce platforms, channel managers, booking engines, and GDS systems.
  • Proficiency in SEO, PPC, Google Analytics (GA4), and other digital tracking tools.
  • Excellent analytical skills with the ability to translate data into strategic decisions.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills to collaborate with internal teams and external vendors.
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Sales and analytical skills with a proactive approach to problem-solving and improving online revenue.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written. Fluency in additional languages is a plus.
  • Self-motivated, enthusiastic, and customer-oriented with strong attention to detail.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute e-commerce strategies to improve online sales, digital presence, and market share.
  • Ensure all online channels (Brand.com, OTAs, GDS, and search engines) are fully activated and optimized.
  • Manage booking engines, channel managers, and third-party integrations to maximize online distribution.
  • Establish and maintain content accuracy and optimization across all e-commerce platforms, ensuring a content score above 95%.
  • Identify hotel-specific online needs and set measurable eCommerce goals, reviewing progress periodically.
  • You will be responsible for performing your assigned duties efficiently and effectively, as well as taking on any other tasks assigned by your senior that are reasonable to your job capabilities.
  • Ensure the hotel website (Brand.com) is fully optimized with engaging and accurate content.
  • Manage and update website elements, including images, marketing messages, captions, and hotel alerts.
  • Conduct regular audits to enhance content quality, SEO, and user experience.
  • Support the development of specialized modules for Spa, Golf, F&B, and Weddings where applicable.
  • Lead the digital marketing strategy, including SEO, PPC, social media, display advertising, email marketing, and affiliate networks.
  • Collaborate with third-party suppliers and agencies for search engine advertising and digital marketing campaigns.
  • Ensure website and OTAs are optimized to maximize organic and paid traffic.
  • Manage email marketing campaigns, promotions, and value-added offers.
  • Track and analyze digital marketing performance through tools such as GA4, DoubleClick, and Evaluation Tool.
  • Implement and manage e-commerce systems and analytics tools to track performance and identify growth opportunities.
  • Provide reporting and actionable insights to improve conversion rates and online visibility.
  • Monitor and analyze key eCommerce metrics, ensuring optimal performance across all channels.
  • Improve market share of direct booking channels by optimizing conversion rates and enhancing the user experience.
  • Develop strong commercial propositions, online promotions, and digital campaigns to drive occupancy and revenue.
  • Oversee budget allocation for e-commerce activities, ensuring cost-effective and high-ROI initiatives.
  • Conduct regular audits of hotel websites and e-commerce channels to ensure compliance with brand standards and best practices.
  • Identify and develop new eChannel partners to expand the hotel's online presence.
  • Troubleshoot performance issues and implement corrective actions to drive online revenue growth.
  • Prepare SOPs and marketing toolkits for managed hotels to standardize digital marketing operations.
