About the Role

The Digital Marketing Specialist will be responsible for planning and executing digital marketing campaigns across various channels to enhance brand awareness and lead generation.

Responsibilities

  • Plan and execute digital marketing campaigns across multiple channels, including social media, email, SEO/SEM, and display advertising.
  • Manage and optimize content for the company website, ensuring alignment with brand guidelines and SEO best practices.
  • Analyze campaign performance using tools like Google Analytics, social media analytics, and other marketing platforms to drive continuous improvement.
  • Collaborate with the Head of Marketing to develop and implement strategies that increase brand awareness and lead generation.
  • Create engaging content (text, images, and video) for digital platforms, working closely with the creative team.
  • Monitor industry trends and competitor activities to identify opportunities for innovation in digital marketing.
  • Manage social media accounts, including content scheduling, community engagement, and paid advertising campaigns.
  • Ensure all digital marketing activities comply with local regulations and align with BYD's global brand standards.

Qualifications

  • At least 3 years of experience in digital marketing, preferably in the automotive or technology sector.
  • Academic Degree with specialization in Digital Marketing or similar business area.

Required Skills

  • Proven expertise in SEO, SEM, social media advertising, and email marketing.
  • Proficiency with tools such as Google Analytics, Google Ads, Meta Business Suite, and CRM platforms.
  • Strong content creation skills, with experience in copywriting and visual content development.
  • Excellent analytical skills and a data-driven mindset to optimize campaign performance.
  • Strong negotiation and interpersonal skills.
  • Fluent in English and German, Chinese and Italian will be considered an asset.
  • Hands-on, result oriented, pressure tolerant, do more & talk-less attitude is indispensable.
