About the Role:

WatersisseekingaSAPHybrisCommerce- Principal Engineerwith deep HybriseCommerceexperience to join our Digital Web/eCommerce development and operations team. In this role, you will be working in a fast-paced, agile environment with a team of diverse engineers thatpossessa true passion for technology. You will play a critical role in the development and implementation of our global eCommerce implementation, harnessing the power of SAP Hybris/SAP Commerce Cloud, Hybris PIM, Cloud, Mobile App and brand new Waters.com site powered by Adobe Experience suite.

A successful candidate will have a solid understanding of SAP Hybrisecommercefor B2B and a passion for modern digitaleCommerce solutions.As asenior developer in ateamenvironment,you will work with solution architects and developers on architecture, technical design and various B2B eCommerce features to drive revenue for the business.A self-starter attitude, excellent communication, and dedication to innovation are critical to this role.

This is a hands-on leadership position for an experienced developer who can balance coding excellence, architectural insight, and mentoring within an agile, high-impact environment.

  • Lead end-to-endSAP Commerce Clouddevelopment projects, translating business goals into technical solutions.

  • Partner with cross-functional teams in UX, Design, and Product to deliver seamless customer experiences.

Responsibilities

  • Translate business goals into technical requirements, conduct code/design reviews, and drive the technical implementation of web projects throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Design, develop, andmaintainscalable and stable eCommerce solutions that meet business needs.
  • Own and drive specific area(s) of website functionality such as search, cart and checkout including prioritizing stories and developing features for those areas of responsibility
  • Providesubject-matterexpertiseon SAP Hybris to ensure successful delivery and operations.
  • Provide Hybris technical guidance andexpertiseto developers, testing teams,complianceand other project team members.
  • Ensure alignment of all critical systems with security and data privacy policies.

Qualifications

  • 10or more years of software development including at least 5 years of in-depth HybriseCommercetechnical/coding knowledge and extensive working experienceisrequired
  • Minimum of 2-3 years of delivery lead / project leadership experience in managing Hybris full life cycle implementations isrequired
  • Experience with Agile methodologies, Continuous Integration, Continuous Delivery, Cloud Service Models, and DevOps
  • Strong understanding of the entireeCommercedevelopment process, including design,developmentand deployment, with back-end knowledge
  • Strongknowledge and experience with technical platforms like Demandware, Hybris/SAP CommerceCloud, Hybris PIM,IBMWebSphereor other eCommerce platforms
  • Experience leading efforts in agile/scrum environments withknowledge of project planning, staffing, and estimating in an agile software development process.
  • Experience managingoff-shoreteams as well as SI partners
  • Strong verbal,presentationand written communication skills
  • Excellent problem-solving skills, with a demonstrated ability toidentifyissues, solve them quickly

EDUCATION:

Bachelor's Degree in computer science, information technology or related experience
