We are looking for a Digital Transformation & AI Manager to lead the digitalization and automation of business processes across our organization, with a strong focus on construction operations and corporate functions.
This role is responsible for improving efficiency, accuracy, speed, and decision-making by integrating ERP systems, digital tools, and practical AI solutions. The focus is on delivering measurable business value through process improvement, system integration, and effective adoption of digital solutions.
Role Purpose
Drive end-to-end digital transformation initiatives by simplifying workflows, reducing manual work, and ensuring enterprise systems and AI solutions are effectively implemented and aligned with business needs.
Key Responsibilities
Process Automation & Digital Transformation
- Lead the automation and digitalization of end-to-end business processes across all departments
- Analyze, map, and redesign workflows to eliminate inefficiencies, duplication, and manual data entry
- Reduce reliance on spreadsheets, emails, and manual reporting
- Improve turnaround time, data accuracy, and process consistency across the organization
ERP & Enterprise Systems
- Support the implementation, optimization, and continuous improvement of the company's ERP system (preferably JD Edwards)
- Work closely with Finance, Procurement, HR, Projects, and Commercial teams to ensure ERP processes are efficient, automated, and aligned with business and project requirements
- Identify opportunities to enhance ERP usage through workflow automation, improved reporting, dashboards, and AI-enabled analytics
- Ensure effective integration between ERP and BIM systems, estimation and take-off tools, project management and project controls systems, and document management platforms
- Improve data accuracy, consistency, and real-time visibility across the organization
AI & Advanced Digital Solutions
- Identify and implement practical AI use cases relevant to construction operations, including:
- AI-assisted quantity take-off and estimation
- Predictive analytics for cost, schedule, and risk
- AI-powered document, contract, and claims management
- Automated reporting and insights
- Ensure AI solutions are business-driven, scalable, and adopted by users
- Monitor global construction technology and AI trends and assess their applicability to the organization
Construction Systems & Digital Tools
- Support and optimize BIM and design coordination tools
- Support estimation, pricing, and project management systems
- Ensure seamless data flow between systems to support reliable reporting and decision-making
- Support the development of real-time dashboards and performance monitoring tools
Business Collaboration & Change Management
- Work closely with department heads and project teams to understand operational challenges
- Act as a bridge between business users, IT teams, and external vendors
- Support change management initiatives and drive user adoption of digital solutions
- Conduct training and awareness sessions as required
- Promote a culture of continuous improvement and digital efficiency
Key Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, Computer Science, or related discipline)
- 812 years of experience, preferably within construction, EPC, engineering, or project-based organizations
- Proven experience in digital transformation and process automation initiatives
- Experience working with ERP systems in a construction or project-driven environment (JD Edwards experience preferred)
- Exposure to system integration and data-driven reporting
- Certification or formal training in Digital Transformation, AI, Data Analytics, or Process Automation (MBA or advanced digital qualifications are an advantage)
