Digital Transformation Projects Lead

Role Summary

As the Digital Transformation Projects Lead, you will drive the modernization of our internal business systems and processes. This role exists to enhance operational efficiency and enable data-driven decisions across our robotics organization. This is a full-time, hybrid, mid-level position focused on successful project delivery that directly impacts our ability to scale.

What You'll Do

• Lead the end-to-end project lifecycle for key business system implementations, from requirements gathering to launch and support.
• Develop and manage detailed project plans, including timelines, budgets, resource allocation, and risk mitigation strategies.
• Analyze existing business processes to identify inefficiencies and define requirements for new software solutions (e.g., ERP, PLM, CRM).
• Coordinate with department heads in Engineering, Operations, and Finance to ensure new systems meet their functional needs.
• Manage relationships with software vendors and implementation partners to ensure they meet project milestones and quality standards.
• Create clear project documentation, including process maps, user guides, and training materials.
• Communicate project status, risks, and outcomes to stakeholders and senior leadership through regular reporting.
• Own the successful adoption of new tools and processes, tracking usage and gathering user feedback for continuous improvement.

• Deliver 2-3 key transformation projects per year on schedule and within budget.
• Achieve a 90% user adoption rate for new systems within three months of implementation.
• Reduce time spent on manual processes by an average of 20% in targeted departments.
• Maintain a project stakeholder satisfaction score of 8/10 or higher.
• Ensure system integrations are stable and meet defined data accuracy targets.
  
  

Required Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in project management, specifically leading business system or software implementation projects.
• Demonstrated experience with at least one major digital transformation initiative (e.g., ERP, CRM, PLM, MES).
• Proficiency in project management methodologies such as Agile or Waterfall.
• Experience gathering business requirements and translating them into technical specifications.
• Strong understanding of core business processes in a manufacturing or hardware-oriented company.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills for presenting project status to diverse audiences.

• PMP or a similar project management certification.
• Direct experience working in the robotics or advanced manufacturing industry.
• Hands-on experience with systems like NetSuite, Salesforce, or Arena PLM.

Work Setup & Collaboration

• Hybrid role: Expectation of 2-3 days per week in our office for collaborative workshops and stakeholder meetings.
• You will report to the Head of Operations and work closely with IT, Finance, Engineering, and Supply Chain leaders.
• This role requires the autonomy to manage project execution and deadlines independently while escalating risks appropriately.
• Work involves balancing the need for speed with the process rigor required for a hardware-centric business.
