Digital Video Editor

We are looking for a Video Editor for a 3-month temporary contract to join our Corporate Image Department in Milan. Reporting to the Digital Art Manager he/she will be producing and editing video content for GUCCI. The ideal candidate should be confident in post-production editing, especially with After Effects and Premiere with a keen interest in Fashion communication.

You Will

• Work within the Corporate Image Department to edit video
• Shoot and light on set, both on location and in the studio
• Order shooting kit (cameras, lighting, lenses, etc.)
• Complete post production for projects including grading, encoding in different formats and uploading to the web
• Research original images, music, and video content as support material to video shoots
• Perform quality assurance on all video footage
• Take responsibility for video quality in terms of creativity and brand tone of voice
• Create concepts and find new ideas to tell the brand values and aesthetics
• Support the digital art directors in creating all the communication assets requested

You Have

• A professional approach to work with great attention to detail, high quality and consistency
• Solid editing background and proven experience using Adobe Premier
• Experience in the following applications is essential: Adobe Premiere, After Effects, Media Encoder, Photoshop, Illustrator.
• Excellent understanding of video compression and optimization for web video
• Ability to work well within a fast-paced environment well under pressure with a flexible, creative attitude both within a team and autonomously
• Good understanding of audio capture and sound quality control
• Understanding of usage and clearance requirements for music, images and footage
• Knowledge of producing video for various devices e.g. iPhone, iPad etc, and interest of new developments and innovation in video content
• Attention to detail on all pieces of work
• Proven ability to work as part of a team or autonomously
• An understanding of the online interactive experience
