Digital Visual Content Producer — Art Media & Creative Publishing

ABOUT THE JOB
De Art is looking for a Digital Visual Content Producer to help transform artworks, artists, exhibitions, and cultural stories into engaging visual content for digital audiences.
This role focuses on the practical production of visual content across De Art's website and social media channels. The successful candidate will work with artworks, photography, graphics, video, typography, and digital publishing formats to create visually coherent and compelling presentations of art.
The ideal candidate has a strong visual sense, understands the language of digital media, and can balance artistic quality with the practical requirements of online publishing.
RESPONSIBILITIES
• Produce visual content for De Art's website, Instagram, and other digital publishing channels.
• Select, prepare, crop, resize, and organize artwork and photographic materials for different digital formats.
• Develop visual layouts for artist features, artwork presentations, thematic collections, cultural stories, and editorial content.
• Create social media carousels, visual posts, stories, promotional graphics, and other digital formats.
• Collaborate with editors, researchers, curators, and content strategists to translate editorial ideas into effective visual presentations.
• Maintain consistency in typography, composition, image treatment, spacing, and overall visual identity.
• Prepare images and graphic assets according to digital publishing requirements.
• Support the production of short-form video and motion-based content when required.
• Adapt visual materials for different screen sizes, platforms, and publishing formats.
• Ensure accurate artist names, artwork titles, credits, and other required information are reflected in visual content.
• Organize digital assets and maintain an efficient system for project files, source materials, and final outputs.
• Explore new visual formats and presentation techniques that can improve the way art is experienced online.
• Monitor visual content performance and contribute ideas for improving audience engagement and presentation quality.
QUALIFICATIONS
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Graphic Design, Visual Communication, Digital Media, Fine Arts, Photography, Multimedia, or a related field.
• Strong visual understanding and sensitivity to composition, typography, color, image quality, and presentation.
• Experience creating digital content for websites and social media platforms.
• Proficiency with relevant design and image-editing software such as Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, or comparable tools.
• Familiarity with digital content formats, image specifications, and social media publishing requirements.
• Ability to work with artwork and photographic material while respecting image quality, attribution, and usage requirements.
• Strong attention to detail and consistency.
• Ability to work from editorial briefs and translate ideas into clear visual outputs.
• Good English communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple content tasks and meet agreed deadlines.
• Experience in art media, cultural publishing, galleries, museums, creative studios, or digital media is an advantage.
• Video editing, motion graphics, photography, or basic animation skills are a plus.
• A portfolio demonstrating relevant visual and digital work is required.
