We are conducting a confidential search for a Director of Corporate Strategy to join a mission-driven organization at the forefront of shaping the future of Abu Dhabi. This high-impact role and plays a pivotal role in aligning strategic investments with national priorities and long-term institutional goals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the development and refresh of the organization's corporate strategy, multi-year roadmap, and strategic priorities.
- Design and evaluate business cases, feasibility studies, and due diligence for new programs, partnerships, and capital investments.
- Spearhead the design and launch of high-profile strategic initiatives, supporting early-phase execution until transition to dedicated teams.
- Enhance the operating model, governance structures, and internal strategic processes to drive organizational effectiveness.
- Advise executive leadership and the Board through strategic memos, briefings, and rapid-response analyses on emerging trends and opportunities.
- Build and manage relationships with key stakeholdersincluding government entities, global academic partners, and sector regulators.
- Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing strategy team (4 direct reports) and oversee external consultants.
Ideal Candidate Profile:
- Bachelor's degree from a top-tier university in economics, business, public policy, or a related field; an MBA from a leading business school is a strong plus.
- Minimum 12 years of professional experience, including 7+ years in senior management consulting role, preferably with exposure to Public Sector, Public Policy, or large-scale institutional transformation.
- Proven track record in strategic planning, financial modeling, organizational design, and executive-level stakeholder engagement.
- Experience operating in multicultural, international environmentswith regional (UAE/Middle East) experience highly valued.
- Exceptional analytical rigor, communication clarity, and the ability to translate complex insights into actionable strategies.
