Job Description

Job Title: Director General Food Sector

Job Purpose

The General Manager is responsible for overseeing and managing the overall operations, growth, and performance of the company within the food sector, including restaurants, cafs, and related food businesses. The role focuses on driving operational excellence, financial performance, brand consistency, and sustainable growth.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage all business operations across food, restaurant, and caf activities.
  • Develop and execute business strategies aligned with the company's vision and objectives.
  • Oversee financial performance, including budgeting, cost control, revenue growth, and profitability.
  • Ensure operational efficiency, quality standards, and customer satisfaction across all outlets.
  • Work closely with department heads (Operations, Finance, HR, Marketing, Supply Chain) to ensure alignment and performance.
  • Monitor market trends, competition, and customer preferences to support business development.
  • Ensure compliance with local regulations, health and safety standards, and food industry requirements.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity and service quality.
  • Represent the company in key meetings with partners, suppliers, and stakeholders.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Hospitality Management, or a related field (Master's preferred).
  • Proven experience in a senior management role within the food, restaurant, caf, or hospitality sector.
  • Strong understanding of multi-site operations and business management.
  • Solid financial acumen and experience managing P&L.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and decision-making skills.
  • Experience working in fast-paced, growth-oriented environments.
