About the Role

The GBS Transition Lead will design and establish the enterprise-wide Global Business Services (GBS) organization, building the operating model, governance framework, service catalogue, and transition roadmap to support a more centralized and standardized model across key business functions.

Responsibilities

GBS Operating Model Design & Strategy

• Design and implement the end-to-end GBS operating model, including structure, service catalogue, KPIs, governance, and business case
• Define and lead the multi-year GBS transition roadmap across people, process, technology, and governance
• Benchmark the GBS model against industry best practices to drive efficiency, standardization, and automation

Global Process Owner (GPO) Leadership & Governance

• Lead and govern GPOs across OTC, RTR, P2P, MDM, and Supply Chain process towers
• Define RACI frameworks and clarify governance between GBS and retained business functions
• Drive process harmonization, reduce manual effort, and embed automation across service lines
• Establish Process Council governance and track process maturity, SLA performance, and exceptions

Transition Execution & Change Management

• Lead the end-to-end transition plan in coordination with PMO, ERP, BPO partners, and business leaders
• Drive change management, stakeholder engagement, communication, and readiness across impacted teams
• Manage BPO vendor governance, including SLAs, performance reviews, and continuous improvement
• Design and execute the organizational transition plan, including role mapping, talent assessment, and capability building

Continuous Improvement, Benchmarking & Value Realization

• Establish GBS performance frameworks to track cost, productivity, service quality, and customer satisfaction
• Embed a continuous improvement culture through Lean, Six Sigma, and automation initiatives
• Build business cases and track value realization for GBS investments throughout the transformation journey
• Partner with BI and RGM teams to implement dashboards and reporting for service delivery performance

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field
• MBA and/or professional certifications such as CIMA, ACCA, or CPA are an advantage
• Lean/Six Sigma certification and ERP transformation exposure are a plus

Required Skills

• 15+ years of experience in GBS, Shared services, or large-scale transformation roles
• Proven track record of setting up or leading GBS/shared services organizations
• Experience in FMCG, consumer goods, or complex multi-entity environments is preferred
