Job Description

Key Accountabilities

  • Implement and periodically monitor IT strategy
  • Implement annual Strategic Roadmap, based on short-term priorities and long-term aspirations
  • Conduct impact assessment on the business plan
  • Conduct competitive analysis of the DU IT strategy vs the local, regional and global competition
  • Monitor and report on key industry and technical IT trends and how these can apply to DU
  • Manage interfaces between various internal entities within the organization in delivering the IT Strategy and ensuring alignment with the other business functions
  • Define, own, and continuously evolve the enterprise architecture vision, framework, and roadmap.
  • Lead the Enterprise Architecture team across Business, Operational and Enterprise Support Systems
  • Maintain governance processes, reference architectures, and standards to guide solution design and technology decisionmaking.
  • Work closely with the other technology teams in Infrastructure, Operations and AI to ensure the IT strategy and Enterprise architecture is compliant across these functions

Qualifications

Qualifications, Experience And Skills:

  • Bachelor's degree in Management/Computer Science/Information Technology.

Experience

  • 15+ years of experience in the IT, or Technology fields in Telecom industry.
  • Previous experience in the development and execution of IT or Technology strategy in a large enterprise
  • Good understanding of OSS/BSS/ESS systems in Telecom.
  • Good understanding of AI (analytical and generative)
  • Deep expertise in enterprise architecture frameworks (e,g TOGAF).
  • Strong understanding of cloud platforms and modern application architectures.
  • Knowledge across networking, security, data architecture, integration, and DevOps

  • Experience of dealing with customers, specialists, and service providers.
  • Strong leadership qualities while also being a team player.
  • Good conflict training, analytical skills, problem-solving skills, and organizational skills.
  • Be customer service-minded and focus on solution providing.
  • Ability to respond positively to working in a pressured environment.
  • Ability to lead and collaborate effectively with crossfunctional teams, fostering a culture of trust
