Marketing Communication Director
Position Summary
The Marketing Communication Director is responsible for developing and executing strategic communication and marketing initiatives that enhance brand awareness, drive audience engagement, and support organizational goals. This role oversees messaging, content strategy, brand management, public relations, and multi-channel communication efforts. The Director manages cross-functional teams and ensures consistency and quality across all touchpoints.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Leadership
Develop and implement an integrated marketing and communications strategy aligned with the organization's mission and business objectives.
Lead brand positioning, messaging frameworks, and communication guidelines.
Analyze market trends, audience insights, and competitive landscapes to inform strategy.
Marketing & Campaign Management
Plan and oversee multi-channel marketing campaigns (digital, social, print, email, events).
Manage marketing calendars, performance metrics, and budget allocation.
Ensure campaigns achieve measurable KPIs, such as lead generation, engagement, and conversion.
Content & Creative Oversight
Direct the creation of compelling content across platformsweb, social media, advertising, collateral, reports, and presentations.
Supervise internal and external creative teams (writers, designers, agencies).
Maintain consistent tone, voice, and visual identity across all communications.
Public Relations & Media Relations
Build and maintain relationships with media outlets, journalists, and influencers.
Oversee press releases, media statements, crisis communication, and storytelling initiatives.
Serve as a spokesperson or prepare executives for media engagements.
Digital Strategy & Analytics
Lead the organization's digital presence, including website strategy, SEO/SEM, and social media channels.
Monitor analytics dashboards and optimize content and campaigns for ROI.
Ensure alignment with the latest digital trends and technologies.
Team Leadership
Manage, mentor, and develop a high-performing marketing and communication team.
Foster collaboration with sales, product, HR, and executive leadership.
Oversee vendor and agency relationships.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, or a related field (Master's preferred).
812+ years of experience in marketing and communications, including leadership responsibilities.
Proven experience developing and executing integrated marketing strategies.
Strong writing, storytelling, and editing skills.
Expertise in digital marketing, analytics tools, and content management systems.
Exceptional project management and organizational skills.
Ability to work under pressure, manage multiple priorities, and meet deadlines.
