Role Overview:
Accelerate growth across existing marketplace channels including Amazon, Noon, InstaShop, Talibat, aggregators, and emerging commerce platforms
Scale GMG's owned DTC ecosystem, including dark stores, omni-services, and direct digital commerce
Lead the development and launch of GMG's &U platform into a fully-fledged wellbeing marketplace app, integrating Sports, Everyday Goods, Health & Beauty, and new verticals
This role will shape how millions of consumers discover, engage, and transact with GMG, and play a central role in delivering GMG's ambition to become the world's leading wellbeing company.
Key Responsibilities:
- Own and accelerate GMG's growth across third-party marketplaces and aggregators.
- Driving revenue and net operating profit across regional aggregator platforms
- Optimising product assortment, availability, pricing, promotions, and visibility
- Improving placement, conversion, and share of search through commercial and operational excellence
- Ensuring accurate, real-time inventory visibility and fulfilment readiness
- Expanding and scaling dark store marketplace fulfilment capabilities
- Identifying and unlocking new marketplace growth opportunities across the region
- Success is measured by sustained, profitable growth and increased market share.
- Build and Scale GMG's &U Marketplace Platform
- Lead the evolution of GMG's &U app from a loyalty platform into a fully integrated marketplace commerce platform.
- Partnering closely with IT to define and deliver the platform roadmap
- Building a scalable marketplace model across multiple GMG divisions
- Defining the commercial, assortment, fulfilment, and service model
- Ensuring seamless integration with supply chain, finance, and customer experience
- Launching and scaling the platform to become a major revenue and engagement channel
- Strengthen GMG's owned digital commerce capabilities across &U app, and omni-services.
- Driving conversion, sales growth, and profitability across owned digital channels
- Expanding fulfilment capabilities, including dark stores and rapid delivery
- Ensuring seamless integration between digital and physical retail
- Building scalable, future-ready commerce infrastructure
- Digital is expected to outpace physical retail growth and become a core contributor to GMG's future.
- Act as the central leader connecting e-grocery performance across GMG's ecosystem.
- Work closely with divisions on commercial strategy, planning and execution

Skills & Experience
- 10+ years track record growing marketplace and DTC commerce businesses at scale
- Experience working with Amazon, Noon, InstaShop, Talabat or similar platforms
- Experience building or scaling digital commerce platforms or apps
- Strong commercial leadership with clear ownership of revenue and profitability
- Experience operating in fast-moving, complex environments
- Experience working cross-functionally with technology, marketing, supply chain, and finance
