Role Overview

The primary purpose of this role is to support the MENA Sales Head (the regional sole leader) in business expansion, focusing on account management and insurer relationship maintenance. You will independently take charge of developing and retaining key clients, driving the full account lifecycle management, and assisting the regional leader in achieving regional revenue targets. Meanwhile, you will provide professional advice to support the company's overall growth strategy in the Middle East InsurTech market, acting as a core support to the regional leadership in promoting business development.

Key Responsibilities

  • Core Account Management: Proactively manage and develop key client relationships in the Middle East, focusing on Insurance Companies, Banks, NBFCs, Brokers, Fintechs, Insurtechs and other non-traditional Insurance distributors.
  • Insurer Relationship: Independently undertake insurer relationship maintenance, build long-term strategic cooperation with key insurers, and tap into the value of existing clients to drive repeat business and cross-selling opportunities.
  • Client Retention: Monitor client satisfaction closely, address client needs and complaints in a timely manner, and ensure a high client retention rate through professional account management.
  • Tailored Solutions: Independently follow up on key client needs, provide tailored solutions based on client demands, and maintain close communication with clients to enhance cooperation stickiness.
  • Regional Strategy: Assist the Middle East Sales Head in formulating regional sales strategies and independently executing specific business expansion plans as assigned.
  • Sales Cycle Management: Independently manage the full sales cycle for key clients, including prospecting, negotiation, and closing, to support the achievement of regional revenue targets.
  • Partner Ecosystem: Assist the regional leader in exploring and optimizing the partner ecosystem, independently driving business growth through alliance partners under guidance.
  • Market Intelligence: Provide timely feedback on market dynamics, client needs and business progress to the Middle East Sales Head, supporting data-driven decision-making for regional business.
  • Proposals & Quotations: Independently prepare detailed quotations and proposals that fully meet client expectations and minimize risks, strictly following company procedures for quotation review.
  • Marketing Coordination: Coordinate with the global Marketing team to develop lead generation events and new business opportunities; provide in-depth market and competitor feedback to the Marketing and Product Development teams.
  • Product Knowledge: Maintain solid knowledge of the company's Digital Solutions, Cloud platforms and Open API products, and independently articulate the value proposition to clients and partners clearly and professionally.
  • Events & Networking: Independently participate in industry forums, network with industry leaders and partners, and help enhance the company's brand influence in the Middle East InsurTech market.
  • Pipeline Management: Ensure deal visibility and accountability at key points in the sales cycle, and report progress to the Middle East Sales Head regularly.

Experience & Qualifications

Hard Requirements (Mandatory)

  • Minimum 10 years of relevant experience, including at least 5 years in account management (client lifecycle management, key client retention) and 3 years in a Director-level role in the InsurTech/Insurance industry in the Middle East.
  • Proven track record of independently managing key clients in the Middle East Insurance/InsurTech market (experience with Insurance Companies, Banks, Brokers is highly preferred).
  • Solid experience in Digital Solutions, Cloud computing technology and Open API platform (relevant sales/account management experience is a must).
  • In-depth understanding of the Middle East InsurTech industry ecosystem and market dynamics, with the ability to independently identify business opportunities.

Ability Requirements

  • Thorough understanding of the enterprise account management cycle, with a methodical approach to moving opportunities through the cycle independently.
  • Proven record of retaining key clients and driving revenue growth through independent account optimization; excellent ability to communicate and negotiate with senior executives and key stakeholders.
  • Strong independent work ability, with the capability to take charge of end-to-end account management and business execution without relying on a local team.
  • Strong coordination and communication skills, able to effectively support the regional leader, coordinate with global teams, and build trust with clients and partners.
  • Ability to analyze market trends and business data independently to identify new client potential and optimize account management strategies.

Basic Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree or above in Business Administration, Marketing, Computer Science or related fields.
  • Fluent in English (written and spoken); Arabic language proficiency is a plus.
  • Must hold a valid UAE residence visa with existing work authorisation or freelance permit Sponsorship or visa transfer will not be provided.
  • Based in Dubai, UAE, with the ability to travel within the Middle East if required by the regional leader.
  • Self-driven, result-oriented, and able to work independently in a fast-paced environment, supporting the regional leader to drive business growth.
