Role Description The Director of Airport Operations will oversee day-to-day airport activities to ensure safe, efficient, and compliant operations across all functional areas. This part-time, hybrid role is based in Abu Dhabi Emirate, United Arab Emirates, with a mix of on-site presence and some work-from-home flexibility. Responsibilities include coordinating terminal and airside operations, monitoring service levels, and resolving operational issues in real time. The director will lead cross-functional teams, manage operational plans and budgets, and work closely with stakeholders such as airlines, ground handling, security, and regulatory authorities. The role also involves analyzing performance data, implementing process improvements, and maintaining high standards of passenger experience and customer service.

Strong Operations Management and Analytical Skills to oversee complex airport processes and make data-informed decisions.
Proven Team Management and leadership abilities to guide diverse operational staff and foster collaboration.
Experience with Budgeting and resource planning to manage operational costs and optimize efficiency.
Excellent Customer Service orientation, with the ability to maintain and improve passenger experience and stakeholder relationships.
Extensive experience in airport or aviation operations, with solid knowledge of safety, security, and regulatory requirements.
Ability to work effectively in a hybrid setting, balancing on-site presence with remote coordination and reporting.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, including the ability to manage conflict and negotiate with multiple stakeholders.
Bachelor's degree in Business, Aviation Management, Operations, or a related field; advanced degree or professional certifications in aviation or operations management are an advantage.
