About the Role
The role is responsible for transforming the mobility and automotive ecosystem through breakthrough technologies, data-driven solutions, and next-generation digital capabilities. This leader drives the organization's innovation and AI agenda, identifies future mobility opportunities, and delivers scalable, value-driven AI-powered solutions that enhance safety, efficiency, sustainability, and customer experience across mobility services, automotive operations, and related supply chains.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Innovation & Future Mobility Leadership
- Define and drive the innovation vision and roadmap aligned with enterprise strategy and long-term value creation.
- Identify, prioritise, and scale advanced technologies including AI/ML, IoT, autonomous mobility, robotics, VR/AR, NEVs, and automotive supply-chain innovations.
- Establish structured innovation frameworks covering ideation, proof-of-concept, piloting, and scale-up.
- Lead cross-functional innovation initiatives and workshops to embed a future-ready, technology-led culture.
2. AI Strategy & Execution
- Own and execute the AI strategy across mobility and automotive operations.
- Lead delivery of AI solutions such as predictive maintenance, demand forecasting, safety analytics, optimisation, automation, and decision-support systems.
- Govern the full AI lifecycle from problem definition and data readiness to deployment, monitoring, and continuous improvement.
- Ensure AI solutions are embedded into platforms, systems, and operational workflows to drive adoption and value realisation.
3. Digital Transformation & Emerging Technologies
- Lead digital transformation initiatives to modernise fleet operations, platforms, and mobility services.
- Evaluate, pilot, and scale emerging technologies such as connected vehicles, digital twins, MaaS, autonomous systems, and supply-chain digitisation.
4. Strategic Partnerships & Ecosystem Management
- Build and manage strategic partnerships with technology providers, startups, research institutions, and public-sector entities.
- Leverage the Holding Company's Innovation Labs ecosystem to accelerate delivery, reduce risk, and improve ROI.
- Govern partner performance to ensure scalable deployments and measurable business value.
5. Governance, Ethics & Compliance
- Establish and enforce responsible AI, data governance, cybersecurity, and regulatory compliance frameworks.
- Ensure adherence to automotive safety standards and data protection regulations.
6. Leadership, Performance & Value Realisation
- Lead multidisciplinary teams across data, engineering, product, and innovation.
- Define and track KPIs for AI and innovation impact, ROI, adoption, and scalability.
- Own the Innovation & AI budget and performance reporting.
- Act as the primary interface between the Portfolio Company and the Holding Company, ensuring alignment, transparency, and continuous improvement
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in AI, Data Science, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Minmiam 10 years of professional experience in AI, emerging technologies, digital innovation, or advanced analytics.
- Proven experience leading innovation programs and delivering AI-enabled solutions at scale with measurable business impact.
- Strong understanding of the mobility and automotive domain, including fleet operations, digital mobility platforms, connected vehicles, new energy vehicles, and automotive supply chain dynamics.
- Deep technical knowledge of machine learning frameworks (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch), cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP), and modern data engineering architectures.
- Demonstrated ability to translate innovation concepts into scalable, value-generating solutions.
