Job Description

Role Purpose

The Director of Digital Strategy & Business Planning is responsible for leading transformation initiatives and enabling the organization to optimize value through data and digital solutions. This role drives strategic alignment, performance excellence, and innovation across national and enterprise platforms enhancing operational readiness and service delivery for government and private-sector partners.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop organizational strategic plans, business roadmaps, and digital transformation agendas to meet long-term goals.
  • Lead design and governance of national data platforms and oversee successful adoption with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Manage operational excellence programs including performance measurement, process improvement, and ISO initiatives.
  • Drive product innovation through data-driven enhancements, emerging technologies, and user-centric service design.
  • Establish business operating models, governance standards, and execution frameworks across enterprise programs.
  • Lead multi-agency engagement efforts, delivering awareness workshops, capability enablement, and cross-government collaboration.
  • Improve accessibility of insights through analytics, dashboards, and decision-support systems.
  • Monitor KPIs, financial performance, and transformation impact to ensure value realization and continuous improvement.
  • Build and empower high-performing teams; foster collaboration, accountability, and leadership growth.

Requirements & Experience

  • 8+ years of related experience
  • Bachelor's in Computer Science or related field (Masters Preferred)
  • Experience leading national-level platforms and working closely with government entities.
  • Strong understanding of data lifecycle: monetization, quality, sharing policies, and infrastructure.
  • Demonstrated ability to deliver measurable performance outcomes across complex programs.
  • Proven capability in planning, budgeting, vendor management, and prioritization frameworks.
