Role Overview
Directs the Group's estimation function across Civil, MEP, and Infrastructure divisions. Responsible for pricing accuracy, tender governance, commercial risk management, and protecting profit margins on major bids.
Key Responsibilities
- Executive Tender Leadership: Oversee major tender preparations, validate cost build-ups/BOQs, and present final pricing to the Group CEO and Executive Board
- Governance & Risk: Enforce estimation frameworks, evaluate FIDIC contractual risks, and conduct post-award performance audits
- Market Intelligence: Manage centralized cost databases, tracking raw material, subcontractor, and GCC market trends
- Team Leadership: Mentors divisional estimation teams, establishing technical standards and succession planning
Key Requirements
- Experience: 18–22 years in construction estimation/commercial roles, with 8+ years in senior leadership
- Track Record: Deep expertise in GCC tendering across large-scale Civil, MEP, and Infrastructure projects
- Education & Credentials: Degree in Civil Engineering, Quantity Surveying, or Construction Management (MBA preferred); MRICS or PMP certified
- Core Skills: Advanced cost modeling, FIDIC contracts, executive decision-making, and commercial risk mitigation
