Job Summary
The Director of Finance is responsible for overseeing all financial operations of the organization, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, and supporting strategic decision-making through financial planning and analysis. This role plays a critical part in maintaining fiscal discipline and driving sustainable growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Financial Strategy Development: Lead the creation and execution of financial strategies aligned with organizational goals.
- Budgeting and Forecasting: Manage annual budgeting processes and provide accurate financial forecasts.
- Financial Reporting: Ensure timely and accurate preparation of financial statements and reports.
- Compliance and Risk Management: Maintain compliance with local and international financial regulations; oversee internal controls and risk mitigation.
- Team Leadership: Supervise and mentor finance team members, fostering a culture of accountability and excellence.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with senior leadership, auditors, and external partners to support financial transparency and strategic initiatives.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field; Master's degree is a plus.
- SOCPA certification is required.
- Minimum of 57 years of progressive experience in financial management, including at least 2 years in a leadership role.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in financial software and ERP systems.
- Experience in hospitality, tourism, or multinational operations is preferred.
