Position Summary - The Director of Food & Beverage provides strategic and operational leadership across all F&B outlets, ensuring exceptional guest experiences, strong commercial performance, and full alignment with Hyatt brand standards. The role oversees restaurants, bars, banqueting, events, and in-room dining, while driving team development, service excellence, and financial performance.
Key Responsibilities -
Guest Experience & Service Delivery
. Ensure consistent quality in food, beverage, service, and presentation across all outlets and events.
. Oversee execution of restaurants, bars, lounges, banquets, catering, and in-room dining.
. Lead service recovery and continuously improve guest satisfaction based on feedback and performance metrics.
Leadership & Talent Development
. Develop and empower F&B leaders through coaching, feedback, and performance management.
. Champion Hyatt's purpose, values, and leadership behaviors through visible leadership.
. Support talent management, succession planning, and engagement initiatives in partnership with HR.
Operations & Financial Performance
. Manage day-to-day operations to ensure efficiency, consistency, and service excellence.
. Drive revenue through outlet optimization, events, promotions, and collaboration with Sales and Revenue teams.
. Oversee budgets, cost control (labor, food & beverage), inventory, and financial forecasting.
Brand Standards & Compliance
. Ensure adherence to Hyatt standards, SOPs, and UAE regulatory requirements.
. Maintain high standards of food safety, hygiene, and workplace safety.
. Collaborate with Engineering and Security to ensure safe and well-maintained facilities.
