Own the think AI Node line end to end: thermal, electrical, mechanical, manufacturing and supply chain. The hardware is half the argument. Density is what lets one node do the work of a rack, and you own the envelope that makes it possible.
What you will do
- Own the hardware roadmap across the Node line, from desk-side to rack scale.
- Own thermal architecture: the sealed loop, the heat exchange path, flow distribution and the pressure monitoring that lets density stop being a thermal problem.
- Set the engineering bar. Design review, simulation gates, thermal qualification, leak testing and supplier qualification standards.
- Review every validation cycle and every prototype before it goes to manufacturing.
- Own failure analysis when units return from the field, and the corrective action culture around it.
- Grow a multidisciplinary team across thermal, electrical, mechanical, firmware and validation, and hire the leaders under you.
- Partner with software engineering on the telemetry interface between the hardware and ILM.
What you need
- Ten years or more in hardware engineering, including four leading multidisciplinary teams.
- Depth in at least two of: high-density accelerated compute, liquid cooling at scale, data centre hardware, or HPC server architecture.
- You have taken hardware from concept through simulation, prototype, verification, qualification and volume production.
- Fluency in thermal management: heat transfer, single and two-phase liquid cooling, interface materials, manifold design, pump selection and redundancy.
- Grounding in electrical design for multi-kilowatt power delivery, and in mechanical chassis, vibration, sealing and manufacturability.
- A player-coach: on the workshop floor, in the supplier audit, and at the customer site when it matters.
- Based in Riyadh or willing to relocate.
Useful, not required
- Direct experience designing custom liquid cooling at scale.
- Simulation experience with Fluent, SolidWorks Flow, OpenFOAM or equivalent.
- Supply chain leadership: supplier qualification, dual sourcing, cost engineering.
- Founding engineer or hardware leadership at a deep-tech company that reached volume production.
- Arabic language proficiency.
What we offer
- One of the first deep tech companies in the region, building foundational technology in house.
- Meaningful ownership and impact at an early stage.
- Competitive early-stage compensation.
- Close collaboration with a small, senior team.
- Problems that combine hardware, systems and AI at scale.
