Get to Know the Role

The Division Director, Information Technology, leads the end-to-end Information Technology function for the HOYA LSI Division, overseeing operations across multiple factories and offices in several countries. It is responsible for shaping and executing a global IT strategy that supports business priorities, including large-scale digital transformation initiatives such as MES, ERP, analytics, automation, and cybersecurity programs. The position ensures the reliability, security, and continuous improvement of IT systems, infrastructure, and production technologies. In addition, it manages budgets, vendors, and a regional IT team while driving governance, performance, and organizational development.

Essential Responsibilities

• Lead the Information Technology function across the HOYA LSI Division, covering multiple factories and offices across several countries.
• Develop and implement a global IT strategy aligned with business needs, ensuring timely execution of the IT roadmap.
• Oversee major transformation initiatives including ERP (D365), budgeting (Anaplan), MES replacement, cybersecurity, analytics, automation, and connectivity improvements.
• Ensure reliability, performance, and continuous improvement of production and business systems, IT infrastructure, and security.
• Supervise networks and production systems to maintain optimal operational performance.
• Manage vendor relationships, including negotiations and RFP processes, to drive cost efficiency.
• Oversee IT budget planning and control departmental spending within approved limits.
• Establish IT governance and security standards to mitigate cybersecurity risks and protect company assets.
• Lead organizational development, including team management, capability building, and succession planning.

Skills and Competencies Profile

• Leadership & Influence: Strong leadership and people management capabilities with the ability to manage regional teams.

• Project Management Excellence: Excellent project management skills, including the ability to manage multiple complex initiatives simultaneously.
• Strategic & Analytical Capability: Advanced analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Interpersonal Skills: Strong interpersonal, communication (verbal and written), and stakeholder management skills.
• Collaboration: High level of collaboration and sense of urgency in execution.
• 15+ years of experience in IT, including 2 – 3 years in a Head of IT or equivalent leadership role.
• BS in IT management or related degree, MS or MBA (preferred)
• Experience in process reengineering; Lean Six Sigma training preferred.
• Experience in manufacturing and/or semiconductor environment preferred Strong business acumen, strategic thinking and problem-solving skills.
• SAP experience preferred.
• Experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 (D365) preferred.
• Demonstrated leadership and management capabilities, strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Foundational understanding of emerging AI technologies and their practical application in enterprise environments.
