Director – IPO Advisory / Capital Markets (Saudi Arabia)

I am currently supporting a global consulting firm looking to appoint a Director-level IPO specialist to build and lead their capital markets offering in Saudi Arabia.
This is a market-facing, revenue-generating role, not purely delivery.
Key Focus of the Role
- Originate and win IPO advisory mandates within Saudi Arabia
- Leverage an existing network across KSA capital markets ecosystem
- Lead client conversations at C-suite level (CFOs, founders, investors)
- Deliver end-to-end IPO readiness and capital markets programmes
What We Are Looking For (Non-Negotiables)
- Proven market maker in Saudi Arabia: Strong, active network across CFOs, investment banks, PE/VC, and advisors
- Demonstrated ability to generate new business consistently
- Extensive IPO experience: Hands-on involvement in IPO readiness and/or capital markets transactions
- Strong understanding of Tadawul / Saudi Exchange processes
- Director-level leadership: Currently operating at Director level OR clearly performing at that level
- Track record of leading client acquisition and commercial discussions
- Big 4 / Big 6 consulting background (essential): Experience within Capital Markets / Accounting Advisory / Transaction Advisory
Role Responsibilities
- Build and scale IPO advisory services across Saudi Arabia
- Originate and convert new client engagements
- Lead IPO readiness programmes including:
- Financial reporting readiness
- Governance and controls
- Regulatory compliance
- Stakeholder management across banks, auditors, and advisors
- Develop go-to-market strategy for capital markets advisory
