Legal Affairs Director (UAEN) - Abu Dhabi

We are seeking a highly qualified UAEN to join our team as Legal Affairs Director. In this role, you will lead all legal, regulatory, and governance functions, with a strong focus on drafting, reviewing, and advising on legislation, regulations, and policy instruments. You will provide strategic legal guidance, ensure compliance with applicable laws, manage complex stakeholder engagements, and oversee highquality legislative drafting and review processes.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Law (LL.B/J.D.); LL.M. or postgraduate diploma in legislative drafting, public law, health law, or medical law preferred.
• Minimum 9 years of postqualification experience, including substantial legislative or regulatory drafting experience.
• Demonstrated ability to lead crossfunctional projects and manage multistakeholder consultations.
• Experience in the health sector is an advantage.
• Strong familiarity with civil law systems and federal and emirate-level legislative processes.
• Proficiency in Arabic and English drafting.
• Experience in litigation strategy and managing external counsel.
• Strong legal research skills, comparative law analysis abilities, and mastery of legal citation.
