THE SITUATION
We are working with a developer at the top of the UAE luxury market. Their clients are ultra-high-net-worth individuals, international royalty, and institutional investors paying premium prices. They expect world-class execution on every material. Marble is not a finish detail for them. It is a defining feature and brand statement.
WHAT YOU WILL DO
You own marble end-to-end on multi-billion AED projects. You do not oversee installations. You control them.
Your responsibilities :-
- Sourcing: Direct relationships with quarries and suppliers (Portugal, Spain, Italy, Turkey, Egypt). You negotiate contracts and quality terms. No procurement gatekeeping.
- Fabrication Oversight: You set quality specs. You audit factories. You conduct dry-lays. You reject work that misses 2mm tolerances. You train partners to your standards.
- Installation Leadership: Your team, your methods, your finishes. You control site sequences and subcontractor discipline. Book-matching is your call.
- Budget Management: You own P&L for AED 25M+ stone packages. Budget accountability paired with decision-making authority (not shared veto).
- Stakeholder Access: Weekly visibility with design leadership and project directors. Your voice shapes material choices.
WHO YOU ARE
You have spent 15 to 20 years in marble or stone contracting. Not fit-out generalist work. Marble has been your core professional identity.
Essential :-
- 15-20+ years in marble/stone contracting, fabrication, or luxury fit-out delivery
- Director level experience (minimum 10 years in senior role)
- Proven delivery of 3+ mega-projects (AED 1Bn total value) with AED 25M+ stone packages
- Direct hands-on expertise in marble sourcing, fabrication, and installation
- Track record managing teams (50+) and subcontractor networks
- Strong technical knowledge: stone specifications, fabrication methods, luxury finishes, book-matching, colour selection
- Fluency in project management, budget control, problem-solving under pressure
Preferred :-
- Ultra-luxury residential or 5-star hospitality background
- International sourcing (EU suppliers, market benchmarking)
- Quarry or fabrication floor experience
- Familiarity with Middle Eastern and Gulf market standards
- CIOB, RIBA, or construction management qualification
- Arabic language skills
Portfolio :-
- Luxury villas, penthouses, high-end hotels, resort developments
- Portuguese, Spanish, Italian, Turkish, Egyptian marble sourcing
- CEN/ASTM standards and Gulf construction codes
