Job Description

Job Purpose

The Marketing Director is responsible for developing, implementing, and overseeing comprehensive marketing strategies that drive brand growth, increase market share, and ensure strong customer engagement. This role involves managing all aspects of marketing, including digital, social media, traditional advertising, PR, brand positioning, and customer insights. The Marketing Director collaborates with cross-functional teams, oversees regional marketing initiatives, and ensures all marketing activities align with the company's business objectives.

Duties and Responsibilities

Strategic Marketing Leadership

  • Develop and implement an overarching marketing strategy that aligns with business objectives.
  • Define brand positioning, market segmentation, and communication strategies.
  • Ensure a consistent brand message across all marketing channels.
  • Oversee local and regional marketing initiatives to ensure market adaptation and cultural relevance.
  • Identify market trends, competitive landscape, and customer behavior to refine strategies.

Brand Development & Awareness

  • Strengthen brand identity and ensure brand consistency across all touchpoints.
  • Drive storytelling and content strategies to enhance brand awareness and engagement.
  • Oversee public relations, influencer partnerships, and media relations to enhance brand credibility.
  • Develop brand partnerships and sponsorships to increase visibility and market penetration.

Digital & Social Media Marketing

  • Lead digital marketing efforts, including SEO, SEM, email marketing, website optimization, and social media strategy.
  • Oversee content marketing initiatives, ensuring engaging, high-quality content across platforms.
  • Optimize digital marketing spend and monitor ROI for paid campaigns.
  • Implement marketing automation and data-driven approaches to enhance customer engagement.

Customer Engagement & Experience

  • Implement customer relationship management (CRM) strategies to improve customer loyalty and retention.
  • Use data and insights to drive personalized marketing campaigns.
  • Ensure the customer journey across digital and physical touchpoints is seamless and engaging.
  • Conduct customer research, surveys, and focus groups to gather insights and refine marketing strategies.

Sales & Revenue Growth Support

  • Work closely with the sales and operations teams to align marketing campaigns with business goals.
  • Develop promotions and campaigns to drive foot traffic and online conversions.
  • Optimize pricing, positioning, and product marketing strategies to maximize revenue.
  • Support new product launches with targeted marketing campaigns.

Budget & Performance Management

  • Manage the marketing budget effectively to maximize ROI on all marketing initiatives.
  • Set clear KPIs and performance metrics for all marketing activities.
  • Use data analytics to monitor campaign performance and optimize marketing efforts.
  • Lead the marketing team and external agencies to ensure the efficient execution of campaigns.

Team Leadership & Cross-functional Collaboration

  • Manage and mentor the marketing team, ensuring professional development and performance optimization.
  • Collaborate with other departments, including operations, sales, and product development, to support overall business objectives.
  • Ensure marketing activities are aligned with company-wide initiatives and goals.
  • Foster relationships with agencies, media partners, and key industry players.
