Position - Director of Operations & Business Development

The Director of Operations & Business Development is a senior leadership role responsible for endtoend operational management, service scaleup, and revenue growth across our healthcare verticals. The role combines handson operational leadership with strong commercial and business development responsibilities and will play a critical role in transforming our clinic into a multisite, multiservice premium healthcare group.
Key Responsibilities:
Operations Leadership
- Oversee operations across Doctor on Call, Home Care, Clinics, and future Hospital services
- Design and implement scalable operating models, SOPs, workflows, and governance frameworks
- Ensure seamless coordination across clinical teams, dispatch, scheduling, logistics, billing, and support functions
- Manage 24/7 service delivery environments with a focus on quality, responsiveness, and patient experience
Clinic & Hospital Launch Management
- Lead operational readiness for new clinics and hospitals, including staffing, licensing, vendor onboarding, and SOPs
- Oversee pharmacy, laboratory, radiology, and allied health service integration
- Manage golive and postlaunch stabilisation phases
- Support preparedness for inpatient, emergency, and advanced diagnostic services
Business Development & Growth
- Drive revenue growth across all healthcare verticals
- Build and manage relationships with corporates, insurers, hotels, film productions, and family offices
- Support pricing strategy, service packaging, tenders, and partnerships
- Collaborate with marketing to position our clinic as a premium healthcare brand
Regulatory Compliance & Quality
- Ensure compliance with DHA, DOH, MOH and other regulatory authorities
- Lead operational readiness for inspections, audits, licensing renewals, and accreditations
- Implement quality assurance, risk management, and clinical governance frameworks
- Monitor incidents, patient feedback, and corrective action plans
People & Team Leadership
- Build, lead, and mentor multidisciplinary clinical and operations teams
- Oversee recruitment, onboarding, training, and performance management
- Drive a culture of accountability, service excellence, and continuous improvement
Financial & Performance Management
- Own operational budgets, cost controls, and efficiency initiatives
- Track and report KPIs including utilisation, response times, patient satisfaction, and margins
- Partner with Finance on forecasting, pricing, and profitability analysis
Strategic Contribution
- Act as a key member of the leadership team, contributing to strategy and expansion planning
- Support investor discussions, due diligence, and growth initiatives
- Prepare the organisation for scale, institutional partnerships, and international expansion.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Management, Medicine, Nursing, or a related field (MBA preferred)
- 12+ years of experience in healthcare operations, including Home Care, Clinics, or Hospitals
- Senior leadership experience within UAE healthcare environments
- Strong understanding of UAE healthcare regulations and licensing frameworks
- Demonstrated experience in business development and commercial growth
