Job Description
Director of Operations — The Littlest Lamb
Location: Birdrock Home, Ahmed Orabi, Obour
Full-time, on-site | Reports to: Co-Executive Directors
We're looking for a hands-on leader to keep our campus running safely and reliably.
Five core responsibilities
1. Facilities & Maintenance — Keep buildings, utilities and equipment working; manage repairs, contractors and preventive maintenance.
2. Fleet & Transportation — Oversee drivers, vehicle safety, servicing and reliable daily transportation.
3. Security & Site Safety — Manage guards, visitor access, safety checks and emergency readiness.
4. Farm & Grounds — Support the Farm Manager and ensure staffing, irrigation, equipment and grounds are well managed.
5. IT Support & Infrastructure — Oversee the IT lead to ensure reliable internet, devices, accounts and technical support.
Leadership responsibilities
Manage teams, set priorities, track work through Birdrock OS, control spending with Finance and ensure problems are resolved.
Requirements
* Proven experience managing physical operations in a school, hotel, hospital, compound or similar environment.
* Strong maintenance, facilities and team management experience.
* Organized, practical, dependable and comfortable using digital systems.
