Job Description

Job Description: Partnerships Director (GCC Region)

Company: TutorCloud

Work Location: GCC Region (Remote / Hybrid options available, based in major hubs like Dubai, UAE, or Riyadh, KSA)

Target Market: K-12 Schools, Educational Ministries, School Operators, and Private Education Groups across the GCC.

Reporting: Vice President, GCC and Africa.

About TutorCloud

TutorCloud.ai is building the most advanced AI-powered tutoring platform in the world—one that delivers personalized, Socratic, one-on-one instruction to every K-12 student for less than the cost of a single textbook. No human tutors. No scheduling. No waiting lists. Just an AI tutor that knows every student's name, remembers every misconception, and never gives up on any child.

We are looking for an entrepreneurial, high-performing sales leader who will pioneer and scale this platform across private and public school networks in the GCC.

Position Overview

We are looking for a results-driven Partnerships Director to launch and lead our commercial efforts in the GCC region. In this role, you will drive regional revenue growth by identifying, qualifying, and closing new EdTech business opportunities, with a path to rapid leadership advancement as the regional team scales.

As a Partnerships Director, you will manage the entire enterprise sales cycle—from navigating relationships with school owners, principals, and government ministries to conducting product demonstrations and closing high-value contracts. You will act as a trusted advisor to prospective clients, understand the unique challenges faced by international and national schools in the region, and demonstrate how our AI solution solves them.

Key Responsibilities

  • Pipeline Execution: Manage the complete end-to-end sales funnel, converting qualified educational leads into paying institutional customers.
  • Regional Prospecting: Strategically target and prospect into key accounts, including prominent private school operator groups (e.g., GEMS, Taaleem, Sabis), premium international schools, and public education bodies within your assigned GCC territory.
  • Discovery & Demos: Conduct deep-dive discovery sessions to understand regional educators pain points, language requirements, and curricula goals, followed by highly customized product presentations.
  • Value Selling: Position our AI solution effectively against traditional human tutoring models and legacy software, focusing on scalable ROI, curriculum alignment, and long-term partnership value.
  • Negotiation & Closing: Drive complex contract negotiation processes, navigating regional school board procurement protocols, legal compliance, and security/data privacy reviews.
  • CRM Hygiene: Maintain meticulous records of all sales activities, pipeline forecasts, and stakeholder data in our CRM (e.g., HubSpot).
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner closely with Sales Development Representatives (SDRs), Marketing, Product, and Customer Success teams to optimize the localized customer journey.

Required Qualifications & Skills

  • Experience: 3 to 6 years of enterprise B2B sales experience (ideally in EdTech or SaaS) as a quota-carrying Sales Lead, with a track record of driving new market entry.
  • GCC Market Expertise: Proven track record of selling to GCC-based educational buyers, school operators, or institutional decision-makers. Deep understanding of the regional educational landscape, purchasing behaviors, and academic calendars.
  • Cultural & Language Skills: Professional fluency in written and spoken English is required. Professional Arabic language proficiency is highly advantageous for building relationships with regional ministries and national school groups.
  • Sales Methodology: Familiarity with modern enterprise sales frameworks (e.g., MEDDPICC, Challenger Sale, SPIN Selling, or Sandler).
  • Communication: Exceptional written, verbal, and presentation skills, with the ability to confidently pitch to C-level school operators, owners, and educational regulators.
  • Tools: Proficiency with modern sales tools (e.g., HubSpot, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, ZoomInfo)

Compensation & Benefits (GCC Standard)

  • Total Package: Competitive, tax-free basic salary supplemented by housing and transport allowances in line with regional standards.
  • Incentives: Uncapped milestone-based bonus structure.
  • Benefits: Private medical insurance, annual flight allowance to home country (if applicable), and other statutory benefits as per the DIFC guidelines.
