Job Title: Performing Arts Department Manager (Director level)

Job Purpose
Build and lead Dubai's sector-wide strategy for the performing arts field. Identify gaps and opportunities by engaging external stakeholders, audiences, and creatives.
Core Responsibilities
- Develop and implement the sector strategy for performing arts, including objectives, KPIs, and programs
- Run the department's annual operational plan and budget
- Assess the performing arts ecosystem to spot gaps and needs
- Shape sector policy and provide input into legislation
- Build partnerships to deliver strategic initiatives
- Design and manage funding programs, grants, and awards
- Develop and promote local and international performing arts talent
- Oversee exhibition planning, design, and documentation for the sector
- Lead department budget consolidation and compliance
- Manage and develop direct reports, set objectives, and review performance
Qualifications
- Bachelor's in Performing Arts, Applied Arts, Business Administration, Project Management, or equivalent
- 10+ years of relevant experience
- Track record managing multidisciplinary teams and large-scale stakeholder engagement
- Experience shaping policy recommendations for a sector
