Dubai Holding is looking to hire a Director - Risk, reporting to the Managing Director - Finance in Dubai Holding Investments (DHI). The job holder will be responsible for developing and implementing a comprehensive risk management framework across DHI. This includes identifying, assessing, and mitigating financial, operational, and strategic risks to safeguard DHI's assets, reputation, and long-term objectives. The Director Risk will ensure alignment of risk strategies with DHI's investment and business goals. The role serves as a key advisor to senior leadership on risk exposure and resilience strategies.

Key Responsibilities:

Risk Strategy & Framework

• Develop and maintain DHI's enterprise risk management (ERM) framework, ensuring integration with strategic and operational planning.
• Establish risk appetite and tolerance levels in alignment with DHI's objectives and communicate these across the organization.
• Lead risk identification and assessment processes for financial, operational, regulatory, and strategic risks impacting DHI's investments and operations.

Risk Monitoring & Reporting

• Implement robust risk monitoring systems and dashboards to provide timely, accurate, and actionable insights to senior leadership.
• Prepare and present comprehensive risk reports to the SVP Finance and DHI Management, highlighting emerging risks and mitigation strategies.
• Ensure compliance with UAE regulatory requirements and international best practices in risk governance.

Operational & Investment Risk Management

• Partner with investment teams to assess risks associated with new deals, capital formation, and portfolio management activities.
• Conduct scenario analysis and stress testing to evaluate the resilience of DHI's investment portfolio under varying market conditions.
• Develop contingency plans and crisis management protocols to address potential disruptions.
• Risk Policy Development & Compliance (in coordination with Governance & Compliance function).
• Design and implement risk policies, procedures, and controls that align with DHI's governance standards.
• Collaborate with Governance & Compliance team to ensure adherence to internal and external compliance requirements.
• Maintain strong relationships with regulatory bodies and external auditors to ensure proactive compliance.

Who we are looking for:

• Minimum 1012 years of relevant experience in risk management, with at least 5 years in leadership roles within investment or financial services.
• Proven track record in developing and implementing enterprise risk frameworks in complex, multi-asset environments.

Education / Professional Certification

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Risk Management, or related field.
• Professional certifications such as FRM, PRM, or CFA preferred.

Technical Competencies

• Expertise in risk modeling, scenario analysis, and stress testing.
• Strong knowledge of regulatory frameworks (UAE and international).
• Familiarity with investment risk assessment methodologies and portfolio risk analytics.
