Role Overview
As the Director Sales and Marketing - Chedi Wadi Safar, you will shape and execute the commercial strategy and marketing plan for our ultra-luxury, boutique-style hospitality property. As part of our team in Chedi Wadi Safar, you'll work in an ONSITE environment, leveraging your in-depth regional expertise and commercial acumen to position the property as a market leader in the luxury segment. Your key mandate involves driving revenue growth, optimizing market share, and establishing the property's presence among high-value clientele, particularly within the International market and GCC region.
Responsibilities
- Lead the development and execution of comprehensive sales and marketing strategies tailored for the ultra-luxury boutique hospitality sector.
- Formulate and manage budgets, set realistic forecasts, and monitor financial KPIs to ensure optimal commercial performance.
- Identify, develop, and expand target market segments, with a focus on high-end International and GCC clientele.
- Build and nurture strong client relationships to maximize revenue opportunities and guest loyalty.
- Collaborate closely with key internal stakeholders to align marketing efforts and commercial objectives.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and emerging opportunities to proactively adapt strategies.
- Oversee the execution of integrated marketing campaigns across multiple channels to drive brand awareness and bookings.
- Represent the property at major industry events, trade shows, and networking forums.
Must have requirements
- Minimum 8 years of leadership experience in sales and marketing within the ultra-luxury, boutique hospitality sector.
- Proven track record in developing and implementing marketing plans and commercial strategies for luxury properties.
- Strong commercial and business acumen, including expertise in budgeting and forecasting.
- Comprehensive knowledge of market segmentation and revenue optimization strategies.
- Extensive experience working within the GCC, with a preference for exposure to the KSA market.
Nice to have requirements
- Based locally in the KSA or immediate neighboring GCC countries.
- Previous experience in the luxury hospitality segment in the Middle East.
- Multilingual abilities, especially Arabic and/or other major languages relevant to the region.
