About the Job
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Director of Sales & Events to join Jumeirah.
The main duties and responsibilities of this role include:
- Champion the portfolio in the market, actively bringing business into the restaurants through curated events, private dining and high-value partnerships
- Build and convert a dynamic pipeline of clientele, ensuring a steady flow of demand that fills restaurants with the right guests, at the right moments
- Position the portfolio as a natural choice for meaningful occasions, where dining becomes an experience worth gathering for
- Cultivate strategic relationships that go beyond transactions, creating repeatable and sustainable sources of high-quality revenue
- Work hand-in-hand with restaurant teams to ensure each opportunity is commercially impactful while remaining true to the guest experience
- Lead a sales function defined by energy, ownership and intent, where success is measured not in enquiries, but in seats filled and revenue delivered
About You
The ideal candidate for this position will have the following experience and qualifications:
- 10+ years experience in sales, events or commercial roles within luxury hospitality or premium lifestyle environments
- Minimum 3–5 years managing pipeline and revenue across multi-outlet or complex operations
- Proven ability to drive revenue through private dining, group bookings and premium events
- Strong network across corporates, agencies, event planners and luxury segments
- Excellent commercial acumen with strong negotiation and conversion capability
