Job Description

Position Summary

The Shared Services Director will provide strategic leadership for all shared service functions, ensuring operational efficiency, compliance with Saudi regulations, continuous process improvement, and exceptional internal customer service. The role requires a proactive leader capable of building high-performing teams, implementing governance frameworks, and supporting executive management in achieving organizational objectives.

Key ResponsibilitiesStrategic Leadership
  • Develop and execute the Shared Services strategy aligned with the company's business objectives.
  • Lead the transformation and continuous improvement of shared service operations.
  • Establish performance standards, governance frameworks, and service excellence initiatives.
  • Develop annual departmental objectives, KPIs, budgets, and operational plans.
  • Act as a strategic advisor to executive management on corporate support functions.
Human Resources
  • Lead all HR operations, organizational development, recruitment, employee relations, compensation & benefits, performance management, learning & development, and workforce planning.
  • Ensure compliance with Saudi Labor Law and HR regulations.
  • Develop and implement HR policies, procedures, and governance frameworks.
  • Drive employee engagement, organizational culture, and talent development initiatives.
  • Oversee HR digital transformation and HRIS optimization.
Procurement & Supply Chain Support
  • Develop procurement strategies that ensure cost efficiency and operational effectiveness.
  • Establish procurement policies, delegation of authority, and purchasing procedures.
  • Manage vendor evaluation, supplier performance, contract administration, and negotiations.
  • Ensure procurement activities comply with governance and internal control requirements.
  • Support strategic sourcing initiatives and supplier relationship management.
Information Technology
  • Lead the company's IT strategy and digital transformation initiatives.
  • Ensure availability, security, and reliability of IT infrastructure and enterprise systems.
  • Oversee ERP, HR systems, cybersecurity, cloud services, and business continuity planning.
  • Manage IT vendors, service providers, and technology investments.
  • Promote automation and technology-driven operational improvements.
Administration
  • Manage all administrative services including facilities management, office operations, transportation, document control, reception, and support services.
  • Ensure efficient utilization of company resources and assets.
  • Develop administrative policies and service standards.
  • Improve workplace efficiency and employee support services.
Corporate Communications
  • Develop and implement internal communication strategies.
  • Ensure consistency of corporate messaging and employer branding.
  • Support executive communications, employee announcements, and organizational initiatives.
  • Coordinate corporate events, engagement activities, and internal awareness campaigns.
  • Strengthen communication channels across all departments.
Governance, Policies & Compliance
  • Develop, review, and continuously improve corporate policies, procedures, SOPs, and operational manuals.
  • Ensure compliance with Saudi regulations, corporate governance requirements, and internal controls.
  • Standardize processes across all shared service departments.
  • Lead internal audits related to shared service functions.
  • Establish Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and monitor service performance.
Financial & Operational Management
  • Prepare and manage departmental budgets.
  • Monitor operational costs and identify efficiency opportunities.
  • Develop dashboards and executive reports.
  • Analyze KPIs and implement corrective actions where required.
  • Drive productivity and operational excellence across all support functions.
Leadership & People Management
  • Lead, coach, mentor, and develop department managers and teams.
  • Build a collaborative, high-performance culture.
  • Manage organizational change initiatives.
  • Foster innovation and continuous improvement.
  • Ensure succession planning and leadership development within shared services.

Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, Management, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Master's Degree (MBA) is highly preferred.
  • Professional certifications such as SHRM-SCP, SPHRi, CIPD Level 5/7, PMP, CIPS, ITIL, COBIT, or Lean Six Sigma are considered an advantage.

Experience Requirements
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in a senior management role leading Shared Services, Corporate Services, Operations, or Administration.
  • Experience working in more than one organization, demonstrating exposure to different corporate environments and operational models.
  • Previous experience within the real estate, construction, or property development sector is highly preferred.
