JOB TITLE

Director - Total Rewards | MAF Retail | Retail Corporate Egypt

Role Summary

The Director - Total Rewards is responsible for overseeing the proper implementation and review of all existing compensation and benefits policies. The role holder is also responsible for designing new policies in order to be competitive with international salary and benefits structures in alignment with the organization's overall strategic objectives and Human Capital vision.

ROLE PROFILE

  • Lead the design, review, and enhancement of compensation & benefits policies aligned with business strategy
  • Oversee job evaluation and grading structures to ensure internal equity and external competitiveness
  • Drive salary benchmarking and market studies to maintain competitive positioning
  • Govern annual bonus cycles ensuring compliance with approved policies
  • Ensure audit readiness and resolution of non-compliance findings
  • Partner with senior leadership to align rewards strategy with performance and HC vision
  • Build and mentor a strong Total Rewards team, ensuring talent development and capability building

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Human Capital, or related field (MBA preferred)
  • 8+ years experience in a supervisory role within compensation and benefits, 3+ years experience in retail
  • Hay Certification (or equivalent job evaluation methodology) preferred
  • Strong knowledge of taxation, labor laws, and regulatory compliance
  • Experience managing salary surveys, benchmarking, and market studies
  • Demonstrated expertise in job evaluation, grading structures, and bonus frameworks
