Role Description
We are seeking a full-time Dispatcher to join our on-site team in Cairo, Egypt. The Dispatcher will coordinate with carriers and shippers to schedule and monitor shipments, track and resolve any issues during transit, and provide excellent communication and support to ensure on-time deliveries. Key responsibilities include managing transportation schedules, negotiating rates with carriers, and maintaining accurate records of all transactions and updates. This role requires quick decision-making, strong multitasking abilities, and a commitment to exceptional service.
Qualifications
- Strong communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills
- Proficiency in logistics operations, freight scheduling, and real-time tracking systems
- Ability to build and maintain positive relationships with carriers and clients
- Experience in rate negotiation and understanding of freight markets
- Attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to manage multiple shipments simultaneously
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and logistics software
- Ability to work on-site in Cairo, Egypt
- Previous experience in logistics, supply chain, or dispatching is preferred
