Disputes Associate International Arbitration

A leading international law firm is looking to hire a Disputes Associate or Senior Associate (3–5 PQE) to join its highly regarded disputes practice in Dubai.

The Opportunity

This is an excellent opportunity to join a sophisticated, international disputes team handling high-value, complex and business-critical matters, many of which have a significant cross-border element.

The team has a strong reputation across international arbitration, infrastructure and construction disputes, commercial litigation, offshore disputes, investigations and strategic advisory work. Lawyers work closely with colleagues across the Middle East and wider international network, advising major corporates, financial institutions, public bodies and other leading organisations.

The role offers exposure to a broad range of contentious matters, from early strategic advice and dispute assessment through to negotiations, arbitration, litigation and settlement.

The Ideal Candidate

The firm is looking for a Common Law-qualified lawyer with approximately 3–5 years PQE and strong experience in disputes, ideally with exposure to international arbitration and/or complex commercial disputes.

• Experience working on complex disputes within an international law firm environment.
• Strong commercial awareness and the ability to provide pragmatic, solutions-focused advice.

• Intellectual curiosity, adaptability and a genuine desire to develop technically and commercially.

• The ability to work collaboratively within a fast-paced, international and intellectually rigorous environment.
• Sound judgement and the credibility to build strong relationships with clients, partners and colleagues.
