Role Description The District Manager role is a full-time, hybrid position based in Cairo, Egypt, with a mix of on-site field work and some work-from-home flexibility. The District Manager oversees sales and market development activities within an assigned territory, ensuring effective implementation of company strategies and achievement of sales targets. Daily responsibilities include leading and coaching a team of medical representatives, planning and executing territory coverage, and maintaining strong relationships with healthcare professionals, pharmacies, and key accounts. The role involves monitoring performance metrics, analyzing market data, and preparing regular reports to support decision-making and continuous improvement. The District Manager also coordinates with marketing, supply chain, and senior management to support product launches, promotional campaigns, and compliance with company policies and applicable regulations.

Qualifications

  • Demonstrated experience in pharmaceutical sales or healthcare market management, with a strong understanding of prescription and OTC product dynamics.
  • Proven team leadership and people management skills, including coaching, performance evaluation, and territory planning.
  • Strong relationship-building, negotiation, and communication skills to engage healthcare professionals, pharmacies, and key accounts.
  • Ability to analyze sales data, market trends, and competitor activity, and translate insights into actionable strategies.
  • High level of organization, time management, and problem-solving skills in a fast-paced, target-driven environment.
  • Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy, Science, vet, or a related field; an advanced degree or MBA is an advantage.
