Role Description
This is a full-time role for a District Manager at Hero Baby resident in El Mansoura, Al Daqahliyah, Egypt.
The District Manager leads and develops a team of Product Specialists to achieve district sales targets and KPIs.
The role ensures effective execution of sales strategies and promotional plans, conducts regular field coaching, monitors performance, and maintains compliance with company policies and ethical standards.
Additionally, the District Manager tracks market trends and sales performance, providing timely insights to drive business growth and strengthen brand performance within the assigned territory.
JOB PURPOSE:
To achieve district sales objectives and support overall business growth by leading, coaching, and optimizing the performance of the sales team while ensuring strong brand execution and effective market coverage.
Key Responsibilities:
Sales Leadership & Execution:
- Lead, coach, and supervise assigned sales team to ensure achievement of sales targets and KPIs.
- Ensure effective execution of sales strategies, promotional activities, and cycle plans.
- Monitor individual and team performance, providing regular feedback and development plans.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, ethical standards, and operational procedures.
Product Knowledge & Brand Performance:
- Maintain in-depth understanding of assigned infant nutrition products and competitive landscape.
- Provide insights, feedback, and ideas from the field to enhance brand performance and sales effectiveness.
- Support product launches, initiatives, and ongoing brand activities in the assigned territory.
Training & Field Activities:
- Conduct regular field coaching, double visits, and role-play sessions to enhance selling skills and message delivery.
- Support onboarding and continuous training of medical sales representatives.
- Collaborate with training and marketing teams to ensure effective implementation of communication strategies.
Market & Competitive Intelligence:
- Monitor competitor activities, pricing, promotions, and strategies in the market.
- Collect, analyze, and report market feedback and competitive insights on a regular basis.
- Recommend corrective actions and opportunities based on market dynamics.
Reporting & Performance Monitoring:
- Track sales performance versus targets and competition using available sales reports and analytics.
- Prepare and submit accurate and timely reports to management.
- Contribute actively to achieving overall departmental sales objectives.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy or Veterinary only.
- Minimum 4 years of experience in a managerial sales role within the pharmaceutical or nutritional industry.
- Must be resident in El Mansoura, Al Daqahliyah.
- Strong leadership, coaching, and people management skills.
- Ability to travel domestically as required.
- Strong attention to detail, with high standards of accuracy, quality, and execution.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
