Job Brief:

The Division Manager Procurement & Distribution is responsible for sourcing pharmaceutical products directly from manufacturers, negotiating purchase agreements, and ensuring their seamless distribution across the local market. The role also includes onboarding new manufacturers and product portfolios, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and company procedures while coordinating with internal teams to deliver operational excellence.

Job Responsibilities:

Manufacturer & Product Sourcing

  • Identify, evaluate, and engage pharmaceutical manufacturers for product procurement.
  • Negotiate pricing, contracts, and supply agreements to secure products for distribution.
  • Maintain strong relationships with manufacturers as the sole distributor in the country.

Distribution Management

  • Oversee the end-to-end distribution of products to the clients.
  • Ensure timely deliveries, accurate stock management, and alignment with demand planning.
  • Coordinate with supply chain, finance, and sales teams to ensure operational efficiency.

Onboarding & Compliance

  • Lead onboarding of new manufacturers and their product portfolios, including documentation, regulatory approvals, and ERP setup.
  • Ensure all activities comply with the regional pharmaceutical regulations, company SOPs, and quality standards.

Cross-Functional Coordination & Reporting

  • Serve as the central point of contact between internal teams (Finance, Supply Chain, Regulatory, Sales, IT) and external partners.
  • Track and report procurement and distribution KPIs, identifying bottlenecks and risks.
  • Implement process improvements to streamline sourcing, onboarding, and distribution operations.

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Pharmacy, Life Sciences, Business Administration, or Supply Chain Management.
  • Minimum 610 years of experience in pharmaceutical procurement, vendor management, regulatory compliance, and distribution operations.
  • Strong understanding of the regional pharmaceutical regulations, product registration, and GxP compliance.
  • Proven experience in negotiating with manufacturers and managing sole-distributor relationships.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, analytical, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Proficiency in ERP systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
