Role Overview:

Our client, a prominent business conglomerate, is seeking an experienced Divisional Service Manager to drive the growth of service market share (service exploration %) across the installed base. The role will be responsible for ensuring profitable, productive, and compliant service operations across all regions in Saudi Arabia.

The role owns the Service divisional P&L and defines the service operating model, standards, pricing, and capability framework required to deliver customer uptime, aftermarket profitability, and long-term lifecycle value.

Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities:

Service Market Share & Growth

• Grow service exploration % across the installed base for all represented OEMs

• Expand preventive maintenance, contract coverage, and lifecycle services

• Convert reactive customers into structured service relationships

Service P&L Ownership

• Full accountability for the Service divisional P&L

• Ownership of labour revenue, margins, productivity, recovery, and absorption

• Define labour rate structures and service pricing models

Service Strategy & Operating Standards

• Define and govern the divisional service strategy

• Establish standard operating procedures for workshops and field service

• Ensure alignment with OEM service standards and customer uptime expectations

Capability & Productivity

• Define technician productivity and utilisation standards

• Own service training and capability development frameworks

• Ensure service capacity supports growth and quality objectives

Financial & AR Discipline

• Ensure service operations support strong billing and cash discipline

• Work closely with Finance to minimise service-related AR risk

Compliance, ISO & Audit

• Functional owner of Service compliance under ISO 9001 and ISO 14001

• Own closure of Service-related audit findings

• Ensure sustained compliance beyond audit events Skills,

Competencies & Attributes:

• Strong aftermarket and service leadership credibility

• Deep understanding of service economics and productivity models

• Structured, disciplined, and standards-driven

• Strong financial and governance awareness

• Effective matrix operator

Experience & Qualifications:

• 10+ years of experience in service leadership within machinery or capital equipment industries

• Proven accountability for Service P&L and installed-base growth

• Experience in ISO-certified, audited environments

• Engineering or technical degree required
