Job Summary

The Quality Document Controller is responsible for managing, organizing, and maintaining all quality-related documentation within the organization. This role ensures that documents such as procedures, work instructions, manuals, and records are properly controlled, updated, and distributed according to the organization's quality management system and relevant standards (e.g., ISO).

Key Responsibilities

  • Control and maintain the document management system for quality documents.
  • Ensure that all quality documents are reviewed, approved, updated, and distributed according to company procedures.
  • Maintain document version control and ensure only the latest approved documents are in circulation.
  • Archive obsolete documents according to document retention policies.
  • Coordinate document review and approval with department managers.
  • Maintain records related to quality management systems (QMS).
  • Ensure compliance with ISO standards and internal quality procedures.
  • Support internal and external quality audits by providing required documentation.
  • Maintain electronic and physical filing systems for quality records.
  • Track document changes and maintain document revision history.
  • Ensure confidentiality and security of sensitive documents.
  • Assist in preparing quality reports and documentation when required.

Qualifications

Education

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Quality Management, Engineering, or related field.

Experience

  • 25 years of experience in document control, quality assurance, or administrative roles.
  • Experience working with Quality Management Systems (QMS) and ISO standards is preferred
