Job Description
The Document Controller will manage all project documentation and correspondence, ensuring accurate control, distribution, tracking, and filing of project records.
Responsibilities
- Maintain project document control systems and registers.
- Process incoming and outgoing correspondence.
- Manage transmittals, RFIs, submittals, drawings, reports, and technical documentation.
- Ensure proper document numbering, tracking, and version control.
- Support the supervision team with document retrieval and reporting.
- Monitor workflow turnaround times and maintain audit trails.
- Coordinate document distribution between Client, Consultant, and Contractor.
- Ensure compliance with company and project document management procedures.
Qualifications
- Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration or related discipline.
- Minimum 5 years experience in document control on construction or engineering projects.
- Proficiency in Aconex, EDMS, SharePoint, or similar document management systems.
- Strong organizational and record-management skills.
- UAE/GCC project experience preferred.
