At Jacobs, we're challenging today to reinvent tomorrow. We are seeking a highly organized and proactive Document Controller to support the delivery of the landmark NEOM Trojena project. This role is critical in ensuring effective document management, compliance, and information flow across multidisciplinary teams, consultants, contractors, and stakeholders.
As a Document Controller, you will be responsible for managing project documentation throughout its lifecycle, ensuring accuracy, traceability, and compliance with established document control procedures and quality standards. You will work closely with project teams to maintain document integrity within the Electronic Document Management System (EDMS) and support the successful delivery of one of the world's most ambitious developments.

This role is critical in ensuring effective document management, compliance, and information flow across multidisciplinary teams, consultants, contractors, and stakeholders.
As a Document Controller, you will be responsible for managing project documentation throughout its lifecycle, ensuring accuracy, traceability, and compliance with established document control procedures and quality standards. You will work closely with project teams to maintain document integrity within the Electronic Document Management System (EDMS) and support the successful delivery of one of the world's most ambitious developments.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage incoming and outgoing project documentation, correspondence, RFIs, and technical submissions.
- Maintain accurate document registers, distribution matrices, and tracking systems within the EDMS.
- Ensure document quality, compliance, revision control, and adherence to project procedures.
- Coordinate with consultants, contractors, and internal stakeholders to facilitate timely document reviews and approvals.
- Support document audits and contribute to continuous improvement of document control processes.
- Generate regular document control reports and monitor key project performance metrics.
- Assist project teams with EDMS usage, document retrieval, and document control best practices.
- Maintain organized electronic and physical archives to ensure efficient document retrieval and record retention.
- Provide support and guidance to project teams on document management requirements and procedures.
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Project Management, Information Management, or a related discipline.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in Document Control, preferably on large-scale infrastructure, construction, or engineering projects.
- Strong knowledge of document control processes, quality procedures, and records management.
- Experience working with Electronic Document Management Systems (EDMS).
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel.
- Excellent organizational, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively in a fast-paced project environment.
