Euro Mechanical is looking for a Document Controller - Lead.
The Lead Document Controller is responsible for overseeing all aspects of document management within a project or organization. This role ensures proper creation, storage, retrieval, distribution, and control of project documents, maintaining compliance with company standards and contractual requirements. The Lead Document Controller will supervise Junior DC and serve as the main point of contact for document-related matters.
Principal Responsibilities:
- Lead and mentor the Document Control team, assigning tasks, monitoring performance, and ensuring adherence to standards.
- Establish, implement, and maintain document control procedures in line with company policies, project, and client requirements.
- Oversee logging, classification, and systematic control of all project documents (technical, contractual, drawings, correspondence, reports).
- Manage document transmittals, revisions, approvals, and distribution to all stakeholders, ensuring accuracy, traceability, and timely circulation.
- Administer and optimize document control systems and tools (EDMS/SharePoint), including regular audits to ensure compliance and data integrity.
- Coordinate closely with project teams, subcontractors, and clients, providing regular document status reports and resolving discrepancies.
Requirements:
- 5-10 years experience in document control within EPC, Oil & Gas, or Shutdown projects.
