Job Overview
Laveso Building Materials Trading LLC is looking for a creative and detail-oriented Drafter to join our Dubai showroom team. The successful candidate will prepare technical drawings, design presentations, and space planning solutions for residential and commercial interior projects.
This role requires strong drafting and visualization skills, along with the ability to communicate effectively in Arabic with clients and collaborate with internal teams throughout the design and project execution process.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare interior design concepts, layouts, and technical drawings for client projects.
- Develop accurate 2D floor plans, elevations, sections, and shop drawings.
- Create 3D visualizations, renders, mood boards, and material presentations.
- Meet with clients to understand project requirements and translate them into practical design solutions.
- Support the sales team by preparing design proposals and presentation materials.
- Design layouts for bathrooms, kitchens, vanities, wardrobes, tile, slab, and showroom projects.
- Coordinate with production teams, suppliers, and site personnel to ensure drawings are practical and ready for execution.
- Revise drawings and presentations based on client feedback and project requirements.
- Ensure all drawings comply with project specifications, dimensions, and material selections.
- Maintain organized project documentation, drawings, renders, and design files.
Requirements
- Professional proficiency in spoken and written Arabic is required to communicate effectively with Arabic-speaking clients.
- Good English communication skills.
- Previous experience as a Drafter, Interior Designer, or Design Coordinator.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD is required.
- Experience with one or more design software packages such as SketchUp, 3ds Max, V-Ray, Lumion, Photoshop, or similar.
- Ability to produce both technical drawings and client presentation materials.
- Good understanding of interior materials, finishes, joinery, tiles, slabs, sanitaryware, and related building materials.
- Strong attention to detail, organization, and time management skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
