Role Description The Drafter is a full-time, on-site role based in 10th of Ramadan City. The Drafter will prepare detailed technical drawings and layouts for confectionery and bakery production lines and related equipment using CAD software, following engineering specifications and industry standards. Responsibilities include updating existing drawings, creating assembly and fabrication drawings, and coordinating with mechanical and electrical engineers to resolve design issues. The role involves reviewing design inputs, ensuring dimensional accuracy, maintaining drawing documentation and revision logs, and supporting production and installation teams with clear, precise drawings. The Drafter will also assist in preparing documentation and diagrams for clients and internal projects, while adhering to company quality and safety procedures.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong CAD skills (e.g., AutoCAD, SolidWorks or similar) and the ability to produce precise mechanical and industrial equipment drawings.
- Candidates should possess skills in reading and interpreting engineering drawings, technical specifications, and standards relevant to manufacturing and production lines.
- Candidates should possess skills in dimensional accuracy, geometric tolerancing, and basic mechanical design principles to support fabrication and assembly processes.
- Candidates should possess skills in documentation management, revision control, and organizing drawing files for efficient access and collaboration.
- Candidates should possess effective communication and teamwork skills to collaborate with engineers, production, and quality teams in an on-site manufacturing environment.
- Diploma or bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering, drafting, or a related technical field is preferred.
- Experience in industrial machinery, food processing equipment, or production line manufacturing is an advantage.
- Attention to detail, problem-solving ability, and commitment to safety and quality standards are essential.
