Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site Draftsman role located in Dokki, Egypt. The Draftsman will be responsible for creating detailed technical drawings, blueprints, and plans using computer-aided design (CAD) software. They will collaborate with engineering and construction teams, ensure accuracy in designs, and make necessary revisions based on client or team feedback. The role also involves organizing and maintaining documentation for project designs and specifications.
Responsibilities
- Proficiency in CAD software and technical drawing tools for creating precise designs
- Strong understanding of design standards, architectural or engineering principles
- Attention to detail, adaptability, and problem-solving skills for creating and modifying technical drawings
- Effective communication and teamwork skills for collaborating with engineering, construction, and design teams
- Experience interpreting and translating technical details from rough sketches or specifications
- Bachelor's degree or diploma in Design, Drafting, Architecture, Engineering, or a related field
- Prior experience in construction, manufacturing, or design industries is an advantage
- Good organizational skills and experience with project documentation management
Qualifications
- Basic English (reading, writing, and spoken)
- Proficiency in using CAD software, such as AutoCAD, Revit, or SolidWorks
- Strong technical drawing and drafting skills
