Support the design and execution of joinery, interior fit-out, and retail store/kiosk projects. Preparing accurate and comprehensive technical drawings, shop drawings, and as-built documentation in line with project specifications and production requirements. The role requires close coordination with design, production, and site teams to ensure precision and buildability.
Functional Responsibilities
Technical Drafting
- Prepare detailed shop drawings, sectional details, elevations, and assembly drawings for bespoke joinery, kiosks, and interior fit-out works.
- Translate design sketches, architectural plans, and site measurements into precise technical drawings suitable for fabrication and installation.
- Ensure all drawings comply with client specifications, material requirements, and company standards.
Coordination with Teams
- Collaborate with project managers, site engineers, and workshop supervisors to gather technical input and address design or production concerns.
- Incorporate feedback from designers and clients into drawing revisions as needed.
Revision & Document Control
- Revise drawings based on redlines, client comments, or on-site changes, maintaining proper version control and revision history.
- Prepare and maintain accurate drawing registers and ensure timely submission of deliverables.
As-Built Drawings
- Prepare as-built drawings reflecting the final built condition after installation, capturing any on-site modifications.
